The IFA will host a general election debate this evening in the Sligo Park Hotel.
Proceedings are due to get underway at 8.30 p.m. and so far fifteen of the 19 candidates contesting the election the Sligo Leitrim Constituency have confirmed that they will be participating in tonight's event.

Kathleen Henry is the IFA Chairperson in Sligo. She's urging as many farmers as possible to attend tonight's event and air their concerns on various agricultural issues with the candidates.
