The national vicechairman of ther IFA Sheep Committee has stressed the importance of keeping the pressure on to ensure the District Veterinary Laboratory remains open.
It follows recent comments by Agriculture Minister Michael Creed that it's 'unlikely' any laboratories will be closed.
Leitrim-based IFA official Kevin Comiskey is welcoming the minister's statement but says they will be keeping an eye on what transpires:
