The Irish Farmers Journal is reporting today details of the tariff proposals that will be presented to the UK cabinet at a special cabinet meeting.

The Irish Farmers Journal is claiming that punitive trade tariffs will be imposed on Irish beef by the British Government, but a possible loophole in the form of a tariff-free quota will also apply to Ireland's main competitors, Brazil, therefore lowering prices.
