A building expert in Donegal says up to 5-thousand homes could be affected by defective cement blocks.
Last month an investigation was launched into the presence of a substance called Mica (PRO: MIKE-A) in certain building blocks used in county Donegal.
Mica has been linked to weaknesses, leading to structural risks.
