Fianna Fáil claims people's lives will be lost because of the hospital overcrowding crisis.
The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation say there were 601 patients on trolleys earlier today - the third highest figure so far this year.
Fifty of those patients are on trolleys at Letterkenny and Sligo University Hospitals.
Twenty eight of these are in Letterkenny where a lack of beds has been a major issue since Christmas leading to cancelled elective surgeries and requiring the 'Full Capacity Protocol' to be put in place on a number of occasions.
Fianna Fail's Health Spokesperson Billy Kelleher says the situation is unacceptable:
