Today is the final day for people to submit their views on the All Island Strategic Rail Review.
Sligo Sinn Fein Councillor, Thomas Healy is encouraging people across the north west to make their opinion known.
The initiative was launched Transport Minister, Eamon Ryan and Northern Ireland Infrastructure Minister, Nichola Mallon last year.
Councillor says there is huge potential for the region as a whole.
