Fine Gael has selected it's Donegal Municipal District candidate to run in the upcoming county council elections.
The convention took place in the Abbey Hotel in Donegal Town last Friday where John Boyle was selected to run in next May's election.
Fine Gael currently hold one seat out of six in the Donegal Municipal District.
Current Councillor Barry O'Neil announced his retirement from politics on the night.
