Sligo County Council says sporadic gorse and vegetation fires are persisting in Easkey, Geevagh and Slish Wood areas of County Sligo.
Because of this, the council is emphasising that 'controlled burning' during the continuing dry spell is strictly prohibited.
Meanwhile, a heather fire is currently burning on Cuilcagh Mountain in County Fermanagh.
The Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service is in attendance.
The Cuilcagh Legnabrocky Way (including the boardwalk) is now closed to the public until further notice.

As the current dry spell is continuing, Irish Water is asking residents in the North West to conserve water.
According to reports, the month of April has been the driest in 67 years.
To conserve water, Irish Water say doing things like checking for running overflows and fixing any dripping taps, cisterns or pipes, and brushing your teeth with the tap off will only use 1 litre of water compared to 6 litres
Laurence Nash, Irish Water’s Operations and Maintenance Lead for Water in Donegal, told Ocean FM about other ways to conserve water.
