A first count in the Sligo-Leitrim constituency isn't due until about 9pm on Saturday night.
Counting of votes is continuing in the Clayton Hotel with Sinn Féin's Martin Kenny and Fine Gael's Frank Feighan looking likely at the stage to be re-elected.
Fianna Fail's Eamon Scanlon is also poised to regain the seat he lost in the 2020 election.
At this stage, Independent TD Marian Harkin looks to be in danger of losing her seat, with her first-preference vote well down on four years ago.
The main beneficiary could be Independent Ireland's Michael Clarke from west Sligo, who has moved firmly into contention after a strong showing in the tallies.
Chris MacManus (SF) and Edel McSharry (FF) are also in the hunt for that final seat.
