Five people were brought to safety after a nine hour operation in Donegal yesterday.
Volunteers from Lough Swilly RNLI were tasked to the scene yesterday at around 8.15am to come to the aid of a fishing vessel just off Malin Head.
The boat had developed mechanical problems and they contacted Malin Head Coast Guard for help.
The lifeboat volunteers established a tow and took the boat to safety before returning to Buncrana to refuel and make ready for service.
