Former Eurovision act says performers can expect a grueling week

A former Donegal Eurovision contestant says those performing in the this year's event in Liverpool can expect a tough week.

Wild Youth will take to the stage in Liverpool tonight for the first Eurovision semi-final show.

The Dublin-based band are representing Ireland with their song 'We Are One'.

10 of 15 acts in tonight's show will make it through to Saturday's final.

Donegal's Mickey Joe Harte, who represented Ireland in 2003, says this is a grueling week for the performers:
