Former Sligo nightclubs to be turned into apartments

It's understood that former nightclubs in Sligo town are to be turned into apartments.

Planning is being sought to turn former late bar Fifth on Teeling, and former nightclub Sixth, into a number of one and three bed apartments on Teeling Street in Sligo town.

It's also understood that more a building at the back of the development is to be demolished in order to house 28 more apartments.

The popular nightclubs have been closed down and lying idle for a number of years.
