There are 46 people on trolleys in Letterkenny and Sligo today.
28 of these patients are waiting at Letterkenny University Hospital and 18 in Sligo according to the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation.
The INMO says today's figures are nearly 30% higher than the numbers waiting this day last year.
