DUP Leader Arlene Foster has called for continued cooperation between the North and South of Ireland Post-Brexit.
Mrs Foster was in the region over the weekend and made the comments at an event opening a section of a new greenway linking Sligo, Leitrim and Fermanagh.
She was critical of the Irish government’s Bill to deal with a no-deal Brexit and added that it does not include any plans for infrastructure on the border with Northern Ireland.
The DUP leader said a deal could be struck between the UK and the EU to avoid a no-deal Brexit before the 29 March deadline and pointed to the Sligo to Enniskillen Greenway as an example of cross border cooperation.
