Four more people sentenced for roles in Sligo crime gang

Four more people have been sentenced for their roles in a Sligo organised crime gang.

All four had links to Sligo native Barry Young.

The 39 year old is serving an 11-year jail sentence for directing a criminal organisation.

Six people, including two women, have now been sentenced for their various roles in Young’s gang.

According to the Irish Independent, another six men are before the courts charged with organised crime offences in relation to their alleged roles in the mob.
