€350,000 has been allocated to upgrade the megalithic burial site at Carrowmore in Sligo.
The money is to go towards improving the experience for visitors at the site, one of the most significant in Europe.
The funding has come as a result of a partnership between the Office of Public Works and Failte Ireland.
Gretta Byrne, of the OPW, who responsible for the supervision of staff at Carrowmore, has been telling Ocean FM what's planned for the site:
