Almost €1.3m euro has been allocated for improvements in towns and villages in the north west.
It includes €1.1m for eleven towns and villages in Donegal under a regeneration scheme.
In Sligo and Leitrim, €170,000 in additional funding has been allocated under the Community Enhancement Programme.
Among the areas to get €100,000 grants in County Donegal are Glenties and Killybegs -- and Donegal Town where a railway tourism project is being developed.
