A number of local family resource centres are set to benefit from a €1.5m additional funding announcement by the Government.
The money will allow the centres to increase their staffing complements in some cases, and it will support the pivotal role they play by providing a comprehensive range of services tailored to individual community needs.
Among the local highlights include over 25 thousand for Sligo Family Resource Centre and almost 20 thousand for the centre in Donegal.
