Funding has been announced to tackle literacy, numeracy and digital skills in Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal.
Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science Patrick O’Donovan TD revealed the supports for adults with unmet literacy needs.

€30,000 will be dedicated towards projects in Donegal, and €100,000 will be split between Sligo, Leitrim and Mayo.
Among the goals of the initiative are to enable digital DIY for all, and to provide skills for daily life such as reading maps. using public transport and booking appointments.
