Funding sanctioned for N16 improvement works

Funding has been sanctioned for N16 Lugatober scheme in North Sligo.

Improvement works are due to start in the New Year.

The scheme will involve the realignment of a 2.5km stretch along the route.

Cllr Tom Fox says the area has been prone to numerous crashes over the years and he's confident that this funding will make the road a safer route:
