A fundraiser has been set up to aid the family of Octavius Job who passed away following a mountain climbing accident on Benbulben on Tuesday.
Mr Job, who was a member of the Sligo-Leitrim Mountain Rescue Team, died after suffering serious head injuries.
Mr Job, known locally as ‘Ocky’ had only lost his wife, Vanessa to cancer a few months ago.
The fundraiser, available here, has been set up as an ‘opportunity for anyone who would like to offer some practical support with covering the family’s expenses and needs.’
The late Mr Job, survived by his three children will be reposing at the Benwiskin Centre in Ballintrillick on Sunday from 4pm.
A celebration of his life will take place at 6pm, with burial taking place in St. Colmcille’s Cemetery, Rathcormac on Monday at 2.30pm.
