The funeral arrangements have been announced for the victim of a road traffic collision in county Leitrim.
Michael O'Brien with an address of Corderry, Killargue, died at Sligo University Hospital following a collision between a car and a tractor on the R280 between Drumkeerin and Manorhamilton on Friday evening.
Michael's remains will be reposing in St Brigid's Church, Drumkeerin on Tuesday evening between 6.00pm and 8.00pm.
His funeral mass will take place on Wednesday next at 12.00pm followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Fiachra O Tonra worked with the late Michael O Brien as part of the John McKenna Traditional Music Society.
He says the news of his death has come as a major shock to the many people that knew Michael.
