The man who died following a single vehicle accident on the Tubbercurry-Cloonacool road in South Sligo has been named as Joe Dunne, from Newtown, Cloonacool.
He was in his early 60s.
He died after his vehicle collided with a wall at a bridge in Doomore.
He was involved in various community activities, particularly drama and the Cloonacool Players.

His remains will repose at the Morahan Funeral Home, Tubbercurry on Friday evening from 4 o'clock with removal at 7 o'clock to St. Michael's Church, Cloonacool arriving at 7.30.
After Requiem Mass on Saturday at 2 o'clock, the funeral will proceed to Cloonacool Cemetery.
