Funeral of Kathleen O'Donnell to take place today.

The sister of country music star Daniel O'Donnell will be laid to rest today.

Kathleen O'Donnell, who passed away suddenly on Friday, will be buried in her native village of Kincasslagh, Co Donegal.

Daniel says his family are 'heartbroken' and has asked for people to keep Kathleen in their prayers.

Kathleen O’ Donnell previously ran the Viking House Hotel in Kincasslagh with her husband, John.

She was the third born of five siblings and grew up in Kincasslagh, Co Donegal.

Her mass takes place at 11am and will be live-streamed on Facebook.
