Funeral of Red Óg Murphy to take place today

The funeral of the Sligo GAA player Red Óg Murphy will take place later today.

The 21 year old, who was a student at DCU, died suddenly last Friday.

Just last month, he was named on the Sigerson Cup team of the year for his performances with DCU.

Red Óg also played for Curry GAA Club.

His funeral mass takes places in St. Patrick's Church, Moylough at 1 o'clock this afternoon.
