Further delays expected at Rathcormac today

Motorists are being advised to expect further delays in and around Rathcormac today due to ongoing roadworks.

Tailbacks of up to an hour were reported at times yesterday.

Sligo County Council issued a statement last evening saying that traffic management is in place to endeavour to keep traffic moving to the greatest extent possible.

The council are also continuing to liaise with the contractor in relation to the matter.

The contractor intends to have two-way traffic in place over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.
