Further snowfall is expected tonight and tomorrow morning in Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal.
According to the Donegal Weather Channel, heavy showers will move in from the North West coast which will cause more snow to accumulate.

This will lead to treacherous driving conditions combined with the current lying ice.
It's unclear if Met Eireann will issue a fresh snow ice warning for the region but people are asked to show caution on the roads and to allow additional time for journeys.
