Further talks to take place on new Technological University.

The Minister for Higher Education, Simon Harris will host a cross party meeting later today with all Oireachtas members in the north west in relation to the Connacht Ulster Alliance Technological University.

Teachers Union of Ireland representatives at IT Sligo, GMIT and LYIT voted in favour of forming the University and are due to formally submit their application.

An international expert panel will be appointed to examine the case for the proposed University prior to it being examined by the Higher Education Authority.
