The future of the Homebase store in Letterkenny has been secured.
It's after it was confirmed B&Q Ireland Limited has reached an agreement to acquire three leasehold stores, currently trading as Homebase, including one at Letterkenny.
The total total purchase price by B&Q Ireland Limited is ca. £3.2m.
Other stores included in the purchase are Navan and Waterford.

Earlier this month it emerged Homebase's parent company, HHGL Ltd, was going into provisional liquidation.
This casted serious doubt over jobs at the store particularly at its Letterkenny and Sligo stores.
With the Letterkenny store set to remain, it remains to be seen what the future for the Sligo store located at the Carraroe Retail Park.
