Gallagher urges all to now work for 7-day service at Seaview House

TDs, councillors and members of the HSE are being urged to do their utmost to ensure that Seaview Respite House in Mountcharles, Co Donegal, will eventually be open seven days a week.

It follows the announcement yesterday that Seaview House is now registered by HIQA, which means the transfer of services from the HSE to RehabCare is now complete.

There has been disappointment in the past when the centre had been expected to open on a number of occasions, only to remain closed; however, RehabCare now says it will welcome its first clients today.

Fianna Fail Deputy Pat the Cope Gallagher welcomed the resumption of what he said was a tremendous service.
