Garda investigation underway into Galway event

A Garda investigation is underway into an event organised by the Oireachtas Golf Society in Clifden, Co Galway, for alleged breaches of Covid-19 regulations.

Dara Calleary, who attended the event on Wednesday, has resigned from his post.

So too has the Leas Cathaoirleach of Seanad, Jerry Buttimer.
