Garda searches in Sligo town part of clampdown on organised crime, drug dealing

Gardaí are continuing their clampdown on organised crime and drug dealing throughout Sligo and Leitrim.

This morning, gardai in Sligo conducted a number of searches in the Cranmore area of Sligo Town as part of an ongoing operation targeting organised crime gang activity in the Sligo/Leitrim Division.

Gardai are also focussing on the sale and supply of drugs.

Investigations are ongoing.
