The Sligo/Leitrim Garda Division are set to officially launch Garda Victim Information Packs to support victims of crime along with families affected by suicide.
In partnership with local and national victim support organisations, the Gardaí in Sligo and Leitrim have developed victim information packs that will be provided by Gardaí attending to incidents relating to a sexual nature, domestic violence and suicide or attempted suicide.
With the event to launch in the Sligo park on Thursday, Community Engagement Officer, Sgt Angela Cummins had this message:
