Searches have been carried out in 11 counties including Donegal as part of a garda operation targeting the possession and distribution of child pornography.
23 addresses were searched during Operation Ketch between February 1st and 4th.
Six addresses in both Dublin and Cork have been searched, along with two in Donegal and Monaghan, and one each in counties Clare, Carlow, Cavan, Meath, Louth, Limerick, and Kerry.
Digital material has been seized for forensic examination at all addresses.
The Online Child Exploitation Unit at the Garda National Protection Services Bureau is leading the operation.
It's targeting the possession and distribution of child porn either through social network sites or file sharing networks.
Nobody has been arrested, and follow up searches are expected to be carried out in the next few days.
