Gardaí are continuing to question a man in his 50s after a major security incident on the Sligo to Dublin train.
It followed reports of a passenger with a suspected shotgun on the train from Sligo yesterday evening.
A large scale response, including teams of armed gardaí, were deployed to the scene at Dublins Connolly station. The station was evacuated, and a security sweep was carried out.
A man was arrested and taken to a Garda station in the capital, where he can be held for up to 3 days.
