Gardai investigate alleged assault on juvenile at a Leitrim disco

The Gardai have confirmed that investigations into an alleged assault on a juvenile girl at a disco in county Leitrim are ongoing.

The alleged sexual assault is understood to have taken place on Friday, July 28th, at Cartown House a teenage disco just outside Carrick-on-Shannon.

Reports that more than one perpetrator was involved have not been brought to the attention of Gardai so far, according to a Garda spokesperson.

Investigations are ongoing and anyone with any information is asked to contact Carrick-on-Shannon Garda Station.
