County Sligo Golf Club is repairing damage to part of its course after a car drove onto the fairway of the signature eighth hole at Rosses Point.
The incident is believed to have happened on Saturday night.
Gardaí in Rosses Point are investigating the incident with anyone with information asked to contact Rosses Point Garda Station on 071 9177143.
David O'Donovan, who's the golf club's general manager, has described it as an act of vandalism.
