Gardaí in Ballyshannon are investigating after a man was assaulted in Ballintra yesterday.
The assault took place on the Main Street at approximately 1.30am on Monday morning.
A male in his 40s was brought to Sligo University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigations are ongoing.
