Gardai investigating possible link in Ballyshannon burglaries

It's believed that two recent burglaries in the Ballyshannon are may be connected.

An investigation in both incidents is ongoing.

Both properties were vacant at the time.

In the first break-in, damage was caused to the front door of a holiday home in the Tubber, Cavangarden area and entry gained.

Meanwhile, in the same area, the front door of another property was forced open and the house ransacked.
Nothing was stolen from either home.

It's believed that the burglaries happened at some stage between March 1st and March 30th - anyone who observed any suspicious activity over last month are being urged to come forward.
