Gardaí in Donegal says they are investigating an incident of theft that occurred on Thursday last in the Ballintra area of Co Donegal.
A sum of cash was taken in the course of this incident.

No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
Meanwhile a Donegal Priest is reported to have condemned the action of thieves that stole a small amount of cash from a locked draw of a candle unit at Saint Brigid's Catholic Church in Ballintra.
