Gardai in Donegal have issued a warning over illegal fireworks ahead of the Halloween celebrations.
They are reminding people that fireworks are illegal and are the cause of many injuries every year.

Fines of up to €10,000 and five years’ imprisonment are applicable to those found guilty of lighting, throwing or being in possession of fireworks.
People are being urged to act responsibly and alert Gardaí if you come across the use or sale of fireworks.
