Donegal Gardai have issued a renewed appeal for information in relation to the murder of Shaun Duffy.
Today marks the 20th anniversary of Mr Duffy's murder, who was from Meenacross, Dungloe.
Mr Duffy had been socialising in the Strand View Bar in Maghery on Friday, 28th January, 2005 for his younger brother Kevin's birthday with friends and family.
After the pub, Mr Duffy continued to socialise at his mother's house in Meenacross and returned to his own home at approximately 2.30am.
Mr Duffy was attacked and fatally wounded in his home at Meenacross in the early hours of Saturday, 29th January. His body was discovered in his home shortly before 2.30pm that afternoon.
The solving of this murder continues to be a priority for An Garda Síochána.
