Gardaí in Donegal have issued some traffic advice ahead of Sunday’s Allianz Football League game between Donegal and Tyrone.
They are warning to expect traffic delays both before and after the match.
Gardai say that while they will endeavour to assist traffic movement as much as possible, the large numbers will result in unavoidable delays.
People attending the game from the town side of the grounds are encouraged to arrive early and to avail of parking within the town in retail parks and other areas and to walk to the grounds.
Alternatively, they can avail of the free shuttle bus which will be available from Kernan’s Spar before the game.
A road closure will be in place from Kernan’s Spar to O’Donnell Park from 1.30pm with limited access for local traffic.
People attending the game from the Newmills side of the grounds are also advised to arrive early and to avail of parking at the Aura Leisure Centre.
Once this carpark is full, the traffic coming from the Newmills direction will be requested to park along the roadside on the far side of the grounds facing for home.
People are being asked to follow directions of the Gardaí and stewards in the area.
