Gardaí in Sligo are investigating after a man was assaulted at a house in St Brigid’s Place, Sligo.
The man is being treated at Sligo University Hospital. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

The scene is currently sealed off for technical examination.
The incident occurred shortly after 11pm last night and Gardaí are appealing to anyone who was in the vicinity at that time and who may have information to make contact with them.
