Gardai in Leitrim say they are not overly concerned about the number of drug seizures in the county in recent months because the Leitrim public are vigilant.
This month over €300,000 worth of Cannabis was discovered and seized in Aughavas and Carrigallen.
Last September €50,000 of drugs were seized in Tullaghan in the north of the county.
It comes ahead of a meeting of the Leitrim Joint Policing Committee in Carrick on Shannon later today.

Inspector Dennis Harrington says they have a good relationship with the people in the community across the county.
He says they are always appealing for the public to report suspicious activity.
