The man who was arrested for alleged assault of Sligo man Charles Townsend in Galway last weekend has been released from garda custody without charge.
The alleged assault occurred at a house in Ballinahown in Connemara, Co Galway, shortly after 9am on Sunday morning.
It is reported that the post mortem results revealed a heart condition contributed to Mr. Townsend's death.
Mr Townsend had been taken to University Hospital Galway after the incident, where he later died.
Gardai say they are following a definite line of inquiry.
