Sligo/Leitrim gardai are continuing their investigations into organised crime gang activity and drug dealing.
It follows gardaí in Sligo carrying out a number of searches at residential properties and wooded area in Sligo town yesterday.
During those searches, €5,800 worth of cocaine, €1,900 worth of cannabis and €600 worth of Xanax tablets (all pending analysis) was seized.
A firearm was also seized during a search of wooded area in the town.

No arrests have been made.
This latest discovery follows a number of recent substantial drug seizures in Sligo.
