Gardaí size large amount of illegal drugs in Sligo & surrounding communities

Gardaí yesterday sized approximately €60,000 in illegal drugs in Sligo and the surrounding communities.

The searches were conducted as part of an operation against organised Criminal Gangs.

Gardí searched a number of houses and forestry lands.

The drugs sized included suspected Heroin, Cocaine and Cannabis.

The operation was part of a strategy to combat the sale and supply of illegal drugs.
