Gardai have thanked the majority of people for their compliance and cooperation who visited Donegal over the course of rally weekend.
A major policing operation was in place with additional Gardai and resources deployed to the county while there was also a cross border element with the PSNI.

A number of defective vehicles were seized over the last few days while a number of motorists were arrested for a number of driving offences including driving under the influence and dangerous driving.
However, Gardai say that most of the visitors were law abiding and an absolute pleasure to deal with.
