Gardai to be out in full force across North West this weekend

Gardai are warning that they will be out in force across the North West this Bank Holiday.

A Garda clampdown on speeding and various road offences is getting underway over the course of the weekend.

Aoife Hayes, Sergeant IC Road Policing in the Sligo District says the June Bank Holiday is traditionally a very busy weekend on the roads in the region and with a large number of events taking place in Sligo and elsewhere, she has this advice:
